Old School Vibes With Modern Sound Research

Current Psytrance music is way better than it was in the early 2000s, but there's also a huge drop in the creative quality. Older Psytrance music had way more emotions and it was more creative than it is today. 2000s Psytrance had a much better storytelling effect, and the attention was on emotions and creativity, while today's music is mostly concentrated on sound design and sound quality. Thanks!
would be cool to see some dj related content from you, just saying!
Just got my Pioneer setup. Definetly will do it!
I'm very curious about why sync is bad. I find it a time saver.
Will make a video about it.
Hi Marko. I hope you are good. I was thinking about good ideas for videos and this one was on my list, I find info on this topic very helpful. I'm also interested in a straight up live performance video...just like the basics of your setup...even if it is on a different platform, like I use Ableton, you may use Cubase....or even just the mixer at parties.. I was experimenting with using a dj mixer as part of my live act so routing between hardware and software is another topic I usually think about. Anyway...thank you for the content Bro.
I can make a video about what is called “live set” today! I wouldn’t know how to make a “real live set” as i consider it as imposible, at keast for my music!
Can you read my mind? Just thougt about this yesterday and needed a good resource of information. Love you ❤
🧘🏽
Interesantno skroz! Hvala 🙂
Fuua 👏
First 😂😂😂 keep it up, best production videos ever!
I love this! I don’t have bluecat, but would love to have it someday. But this definitely helps my summing problem that I’ve had. Now I can increase the overlapping bass a bit more so I get that rolling bass without the summing! 👍👍👍
where you find this sick vocals :o at 6:00 -6:01 <3 <3 sick video as always
Love your videos!
Yeah such a cool feeling. Love the progressions

Amazing! Thank you so much for this! Can you share what kind of delay you are using on this Main Theme? Is it the same on alle the different (Main Theme) tracks, or different delay settings?
Did I see a lot of Dune there, hahah, love Dune also 🙂
nice👍
yo this is sick
hvala Mare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your music is so articulate, everything happens precisely when its meant to! Thank you for sharing the wealth of knowledge and experiences :)
Nice work Marko!
You are going to be the pioneer of a new renaissance of psytrance music. Everyone wants soulful psytrance back, we just couldn't find it....
People have forgotten where what Psy was about. most people have this copy paste vibe going so everything sounds the same.
@@coldprojectofficial happen few times in the past as well. It might not be the right time for Paytrance, but it always came back, and will again. This what’s going now reminds me on period from 2007-2010 when everything went comercial on one side.
Amazing advice.
Bruh! 1st off; LOVE IT😁👊👍 far as finishing? Watch the Mann Parish How Hip Hop Beebop was made video. He didnt even want to release it!😏 sold over 5million copies.
As always..Great content and advices..Thanks Mark.
Beautiful melody man, deep and hypnotic, love it.
the only time ive worked when i was feeling down i actually made my track better. it was a forset style and i ended up mixing it more aggressively and faster which ended up improving the track. Its the only time my negative emotion had actually helped me, i also made a tune during lockdown was was also a banger but that was a different emotion more like frustration in the parties stopping. But yeah i agree that when you are feeling good and you got a creative bug grab that creativity by the balls
i went through a couple years of not producing much and barely made a song a year, i aim for 2 to 3 but that has recently changed now i got signed by Ovnimoon!!! i aiming for a song every 2 months
the message is so true. making music should be 100% from a fun\play and exploration state of mind.
yeah very true till you get signed hahaha my pressure has increased but i'm trying to not think too much about banging out tune after tune but i defo go to notch it up a bit
@@yhoda145 I feel sorry for people that in the "need to provide releases" loop.. takes the fun away.. but that's the price you need to pay. good luck buddy :)
Rick rubin!! 😅😅😅😅😅😅 Bro turn the knob on your ego down to 2. It's on 11 atm. Imagine putting a 24h "upcoming video" just to talk about yourself. Jesus christ. Plus your music sounds like ass bro. Realise it.
Finally I waited 24 hours for this 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Hey man. Do you have a video on the bassline itself, for me to learn how its done, how to get that groove and whats important to focus on? Ive heard your sounds since forever and I too really miss these tracks. I lost all my old music, so I cant remember all the artists from that time. Was it around 2004-2007? If you can tell me 2-3 artists that you got inspired from, I would love to hear them! Thx, René
Go to my channel, and search for “psytrance bassline”
There is no longer a virus ti in your studio....
Got broken, at the back of the studio, waiting repair
@@EClipChannel Marko, there is a plugin that will help you a lot in the low frequencies. Its name is Waves Track Space. This plugin is a side chain that will only apply the sidechain at the frequency you choose, creating clarity between the kick and the bass.
@@mmmd397 i do not like it, Sooth and MSpectralDynamics are way better in my oppinion. You can sidechain Sooth as well!
Thank you very helpfull and professional content!!! Cant find a lot like this over youtube. Other thing, Can you please tell me how the ns10 help you? I use them also but find it hard to get them in my workflow, thank you!!!
I don’t use them, they are not anymore in the studio. This is only my opinion, don’t take it for granted: “NS10 were super helpful in the era of ‘80s when most of the music listened through the small FM receiver, and NS 10 because of its transparency and super lightweight drivers was the best choice to translate mixes to most of the FM receivers. Their incapability to produce low frequency almost makes them unusable for modern EDM music.”
if you could create a tutorial about bassline layering for all the pro psy trance producers and there mixing and mastering technique will be a great from you .......cheers
Go to my channel, and scroll a bit, there is a video for the second bassline layer in Phaseplant!
@@EClipChannel thanks brother
The beginning of this track is very reminiscent of Astrix's Sahara track. ....Atmospheres and arpeggio....
Possible, havent hear it for a long time, but i do like that track. There will be video about what you just said.
@@EClipChannel Sprinkling Astrix sound tips would be really interesting to hear as he's got brilliant sound designs and choices
@@marmasan164 what do you mean?
What kind of track is this? Has it been released yet?
Not yet! Soon!
КРЋ је за свингере :)
See you next week bro 🎉
😎
Thankyou for sharing your experience 🫶
Mspectraldynamics is giving you an error in the visualization of the spectrum. I don't know if you will take it into account if it doesn't insert noise and you check it, you just have to modify the slope 0%, although I see that you are guided more by your ear, which is how it should be. Greetings
I am aware of the slope (sorry but it is not an error) but since i draw the treshold anyway, so slope i didn’t need to use.
Did you sell your virus ? 😮
It’s broken, sitting in the back of the studio. Waiting repear!
This is the right process to create a psytrance bass, and it's fortunate that some people know how to do it. There are so many UA-cam tutorials teaching techniques that don't suit this genre.
There are different solutions and each has it's own flavour.
